How to connect my Instagram account to HeyDM?
Connecting your account takes less than 2 minutes. First, make sure your Instagram account is a Professional Account (Creator or Business). You don't need a Facebook Page: HeyDM connects through Instagram's own login.
1. Log into your HeyDM Dashboard.
2. Choose to connect your Instagram account.
3. Instagram's login screen opens. Sign in to the account you want to automate (HeyDM never sees your password).
4. Grant the required permissions. (Do not uncheck any permissions, or the bot will fail to read comments).
How can I disconnect my Instagram account?
If you want to stop all automations immediately or link a different account, you can disconnect your profile safely.
1. Go to your HeyDM Dashboard.
2. Click on Settings > Integrations.
3. Click the Disconnect button next to your Instagram account.
4. To be completely sure, open Instagram and go to Settings and activity > Website permissions > Apps and websites, then remove HeyDM.
How do I change or reset my password?
If you are already logged in but want to change your password for security reasons: Go to Settings > General > Change Password, enter your current password, and type in a new one.
Forgot your password? Don't worry. Go to the HeyDM Login page and click on Forgot Password. Enter your registered email address, and we will send you a secure link to reset your password instantly.

How to set up an auto-reply for Instagram comments?
Setting up an Instagram comment automation is the fastest way to generate sales from your Reels and Posts.
1. Navigate to the Automations tab in HeyDM.
2. Click New Flow and select 'Post/Reel Comment' as your trigger.
3. Enter the specific keyword you want users to comment (e.g., "LINK", "GUIDE", or "PRICE").
4. Draft the automated direct message (DM) that HeyDM will send when the keyword is detected.
5. Save and Publish. HeyDM will now run 24/7 on your account.
What is "Next Post Automation"?
Next Post Automation is one of HeyDM's most powerful time-saving features. Instead of logging into the dashboard to create a new rule every single time you upload a reel, you can set a universal rule.
When you enable Next Post Automation, HeyDM will automatically apply your chosen keyword trigger (like "LINK") to all the future posts you upload. You literally set it once and forget it!

How do I cancel my subscription?

1. Log into your HeyDM Dashboard.
2. Navigate to Settings > Billing.
3. Click on the Cancel Subscription button.
Once cancelled, you will not be billed again. Your premium features will remain active until the end of the days you have already paid for.
What is the Instagram 24-hour messaging window?
To prevent businesses from spamming users, Meta enforces a strict policy: You can only send automated promotional messages to a user within 24 hours of their last message to you.
HeyDM automatically tracks this window for every single contact. If a user hasn't interacted with you in 24 hours, HeyDM will prevent the bot from sending unauthorized messages, ensuring you never violate Meta's terms of service.
